JOIN THE TEAM AT TERRITORY HANDS

At Territory Hands, we’re passionate about helping people recover from hand and upper limb injuries — and equally passionate about supporting therapists to grow in their careers. Right now, we have two exciting opportunities to join our friendly Darwin-based team.

LEADING HAND THERAPIST - OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST OR PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Full Time Position - OT or Physio

Territory Hands is a passionate and friendly team based in beautiful Darwin. Right now, we’re looking for a new senior therapist to join us — someone who’s not just experienced in hand therapy, but also ready to step into a leadership role and help guide and support others on the team.

If you’ve been in hand therapy for at least 3 years and you love the idea of leading a small, dedicated team (while still having your own clinical caseload), we’d love to hear from you.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in hand therapy

  • Natural leadership and mentoring skills

  • Confident in triaging referrals, managing bookings, and supporting a therapy team

  • Full-time leadership role within our 5-therapist team

The opportunity: Step into a senior role where you’ll not only advance your own practice but also guide and mentor others, all within a supportive and values-driven workplace.

A bit about the role

You’ll be helping to triage referrals, manage therapist bookings, and support our wonderful therapy team (currently five of us) with clinical guidance and mentorship. You’ll also be involved in onboarding and training new team members, and be part of our leadership team alongside the Directors and practice manager. It’s a role with purpose, variety, and real connection — and your voice will matter here.

We know how full and fast-paced hand therapy can be. That’s why we’ve built strong systems, good admin support, and a team culture that’s all about working together and looking after each other.

EARLY CAREER HAND THERAPIST (OT or Physio)

Full Time Position

  • AHPRA registered OT or physio

  • Some hand therapy experience is welcome, but not essential

  • Enthusiastic, organised, and ready to learn

  • Full-time role with structured training and mentoring

The opportunity: Begin your hand therapy journey with solid support. You’ll get hands-on experience with a wide range of cases, close mentoring from accredited therapists, and the chance to grow your career in a specialised field.

Ready for your next adventure?
