About the Position:
We’re looking for a Practice Manager who not only brings strong skills in administration, accounts, and leadership — but who is also genuinely lovely to work with. This full-time leadership role is perfect for someone with a background in allied health or medical practice administration who thrives on building relationships, managing systems, and supporting a team to do their best work every day.
At Territory Hands, we’re proud of the caring, professional, and welcoming experience we offer our clients — and the supportive environment we create for our team. Our core values of Integrity, Team, Excellence, Compassion and Resilience guide everything we do.
As our Practice Manager, you’ll play a central role in leading the day-to-day operations of the practice, supporting our wonderful team of therapists and admin staff, and helping us continue to grow and thrive.
About the Role
As our Practice Manager, you’ll:
Lead and support a friendly, committed admin team
Support our clinical team with the Clinical lead and Directors
Oversee the smooth daily running of the practice
Manage Admin staff rosters, onboarding and appraisals
Coordinate financial processes including budgeting, reporting, invoicing and cash flow
Ensure quality client service from enquiry to discharge
Support marketing, referrer relationships and business development
Maintain compliance, safety and quality systems
Monitor stock, manage equipment, and oversee the asset registry
Champion our values of Integrity, Team, Excellence, Compassion and Joyful Resilience
You’ll be a great fit if you:
Have experience in administration and accounts leadership, ideally within an allied health, medical or related setting
Bring demonstrated leadership skills, with a natural ability to support and motivate a team
Are approachable, kind, and professional — someone who builds trust easily
Are highly organised and confident managing competing priorities
Communicate clearly and warmly, both in writing and in person
Have strong skills in financial administration, reporting and practice management systems
Have HR experience or a strong interest in supporting recruitment, onboarding and staff development
Selection Criteria
Experience in an allied health or medical administrative management role
Strong leadership and team support skills
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Confidence with financial oversight, including budgets, reporting and accounts
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Experience with practice systems, policies and HR processes
Current Australian driver’s license
